It seems dock is now included with base model (not sure if 2nd battery is incl.). You want to double-check when you order. Price is bit high for RT device which won’t run Windows 7 apps but it’s lightest, thinnest tablet with brightest screen (should be readable outdoors). Also features stereo speakers, E-Compass and several other sensors. AT&T device comes with 4G LTE. Magnetic keyboard dock. AnandTech review |

Awesome list, I’m constantly checking it out for updates.
Just in case, if you would like to include the HP ElitePad:
http://mashable.com/2012/10/01/hp-elitepad/ and http://www.extremetech.com/computing/137136-hp-elitepad-900-for-business-windows-8
The pricing is $700, they say it in a youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EweCDKPaO0
October 4, 2012 at 8:27 am
Thanks:-). I’ve seen the ElitePad but resolution is only 1280×800 and it’s targeted for business. Still might be interesting certainly for retail and price looks good. I just added official pricing for W700 which is about same price.

What about the Kupa Ultranote?
October 14, 2012 at 5:56 am
Thanks, I’ll add it. Not sure yet if it will reach general availability but looks like it at this point.
October 14, 2012 at 8:51 am
Great list. How about a little icon or something that indicates whether a tablet runs Win RT or Win 8 Pro? (They’re different segments of the market — if you’re looking for Win 8 Pro, you won’t settle for RT.)
October 16, 2012 at 4:55 pm
Thank. Good idea. I’ll highlight RT.

You might like these two lists: The first is only for tablets with a stylus (http://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=A3E71B4BBE25C114!107&app=Excel). The second is all tablets (http://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai8ZiATihYWQdDhTYnBMNzNNU2pIWTI4blh4cW5QS3c#gid=6)

Is it possible for you to add touchscreen laptops, like the Asus Zenbook Touch? I love this list but you love more devices
October 24, 2012 at 8:46 pm
Thanks. I only listed devices that can be used as tablet. Since Ultrabooknews already has such a list I’m not listing these. But there quite a lot of new Ultrabooks coming with touch so that would make this list bit large potentially.
October 25, 2012 at 1:28 pm
Great list love it. I was hoping you could add more devices, like touchscreen laptops, especially the Asus Zenbook Touch. Thansk for the awesome lis. If you need help keeping the list up to date. I’m willing to help
October 24, 2012 at 8:48 pm
Checkout ultrabooknews for Ultrabooks with touch. They also have a database listing these devices.
October 25, 2012 at 1:23 pm
Can i help update this list?
October 25, 2012 at 2:57 pm
Sure if you are missing a tablet W8 device let me know and I’ll add it. Or if there are missing or incorrect info too. Note I do filter out tablet(s) with resolution below 1366xx768 (e.g. 1 HP device).

It’s a bit disappointing that none of these are readily available in stores; most being out of stock or unavailable. Launch fail.

Yes not easy to find several models in store. Although most can be ordered online like (e.g. Dell).
Best Buy has Yoga 13 but most stores sold out. They still have demo to try. I loved it especially display.
Microsoft stores have Surface and Asus RT in stock. Also saw Sony store had demo slider model but also sold out (despite high pricing).

This video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=ubupgasP1cI? Someone in Germany was able to buy one (Hamburg, Konrad store).
So looks like it’s starting to roll out in Europe. Haven’t heard anything for the US. Seems bit expensive and heavy and brightness is now rated at 400 nits.
